Tickets are now available for the Transport Group’s new off-Broadway show House for Sale. Daniel Fish adapted the play from an essay by writer Jonathan Franzen (The Corrections, Freedom). House for Sale will play a limited engagement at the Duke on 42nd Street from October 13 through November 18, with an official opening on October 21.
House for Sale follows Jonathan Franzen as he travels to his childhood home in Missouri to prepare to put it on the market following his mother’s passing. In the process, he is immersed in memories of his childhood, growing up in a place he once cherished. Each of the show's five actors acts out scenes in the essay.
House for Sale will star Rob Campbell (Ivanov and Translations), Lisa Joyce (La Bete), Christina Rouner (Coram Boy), Merritt Janson (Notes From Underground) and Michael Rudko (Serious Money, The Best Man and Mary Stuart.
